I'm here once again to tell you that you are loved. Life is pain, but love is the balm that makes it bearable. Some people feel unlovable, and I absolutely relate to that, but fuck it. Don't listen to those people who say you aren't worthy. You are cool AF to someone and you should know it.

Last night I asked if they still had rice and beans, and when the cashier looked confused I ordered in Spanish and y'all it's not that hard. My meal was delicious and everyone around me was so happy, looked totally different from me, and everyone said "mmm" in the same language so whatever.

Because of my fucked up body, I get a variety of mouth sores all the damn time. I don't like Ambesol. This works for all of them. I recommend it for babies to elderly.

The co-op sells something called Gum Drops. The mixture numbs the area and is also slightly antiseptic so can help with healing. You can also get canker covers, but I've never gotten much help with those on tongue canker sores.

Use a Q-tip and it won't spread too much, so you'll be able to taste.

My mother had mild polio! She was just a baby, but they didn't have a vaccine yet and they were out in the boonies on a farm. By the time they got to a doc, they were fairly certain she'd cleared the worst of it. She lived with the issues her whole life.

For six years I've called the city about damaged street lights. They continued to put up a cone every time another one got taken out by another careless vehicle. No new light. I had one working street light on my block last night.

I got one of those Catsumo gloves for the stinker, and she loves it. Those crinkly ears are her favorite, the little mawashi that holds catnip is mine!

Today while I was on watch a friend who had been in hiding drove by and honked and waved, and I got to wave and shout his name back.

I immediately texted him that I'd missed seeing him, and that I was glad he was out and about. I am so glad he's here, I told him so.

I'm having an emotional day.

We've been trying to discover what my son wants to do with himself. We're not pushy about college, but I'd love if he had a direction.

I have changed careers every decade or so, and that is something I think they need to hear as well. "Your first job will not be your last. You will evolve."
