3rd comment must not know that game companies don’t see a dime of retro games sales. The money only goes to whoever sold it.

So unless there’s a readily available modern rerelease (which many retro games don’t have), it really doesn’t matter how you access them.

Going to join my voice with those of my lovely friends and say that this kind of gatekeeping can f off. Especially if it comes from anyone who just buys games or hardware to look pretty on a shelf anyway.

Vintage/classic/retro games are for everyone, and it doesn't matter in the end how you play.

As a kid, one year I was sent to a 2 week summer camp that I ultimately didn't enjoy for a variety of reasons. One of which is that many of the kids weren't nice.

In between weeks, my mom sent me back to the camp with a bag of pretzel rods for me to munch on...
