All of the Project Hail Mary hot takes about the film somehow being anti-woke are extremely funny when you realize one of the set dressers absolutely decided Grace is a furry and gave him a low-key fox motif throughout the film. Fox sweater, fox keychain, a gosh dang fox mask. It’s all there.

So there was a between her brothers (I think of Chinese martial arts vs Japanese martial arts. Last fight was a ninjitsu fight. And at the end the Chinese man apologized and accepted the brother's sword, and that's how the movie ended.

I am racking my brain trying to find an old martial arts film from my childhood.

All I remember is it was basically Chinese vs Japanese. I think a Chinese martial artist was marrying a Japanese woman and accidentally insulted her family by not accepting a sword.
