I may be born in the 90s and grew up with modern stuff, but most of the things from that time were still being used in the 2000s.

one can't just get rid of old tech that easily...

the last time I saw this was in a local supermarket, playing a video advertising an insecticide, back in 2004.

other than that, I don't even know. I grew up with DVDs and never actually touched a VCR, let alone use one.
