Venus is tide locked to the sun. It’s common but still has CRAZY implications for the moon / planet.

Venus is actually way weirder; it's not tidally locked, it's spinning *backwards*. Under normal circumstances, it might've ended up tidally locked, but because of its massive atmosphere and proximity to the sun, the heating causes retrograde rotation!
