I am pleased to report that Lotus Domino 6.0.1 still installs and works on Windows 11.

I love how you spend 25 minutes clearing up some disk space on macOS, things like, oh I don't know; 10GB of images that are synced with iCloud even though in Settings you've said not to sync images to this computer. Then you do a restart after freeing up some 30GB only to find you actually have less

I wonder if I'm the only one who spends his evening hunting around for vintage software? Probably not. I just bought a boxed copy of CorelDraw 7.0 for Windows as my Dad bought this for us 'back in the day'. I look forward to playing around with it again.

Latest edition to the family. It cost £10 but sadly came without the charger. Just picked one up for £3 on eBay. Fingers crossed it works. No idea of the spec other than it’s a PIII with 256 MB RAM and it has a Windows 2000 COA on the bottom.

Well I gave up with trying to get DOOM CE working on the A-11 as it doesn’t have enough RAM but I did get it working on my 360LX!! It’s quite horrendous but it is in 16 shades of grey

I think I’ve done it. I think I’ve finally found something you can’t DOOM on!! My little Cassiopeia won’t launch DOOM!!

I still love that Windows 95 and Windows 98 still know about daylight savings time. I'll bet the developers didn't think people 30+ years later would still be enjoying what they created.

The new subscriber numbers are slowing for my channel, which I expected but two milestones this week:

1) I just passed 1,000,000 views
2) I just passed 6,500 subscribers

Mind totally blown by these figures.

Thank you to each and everyone of you who have pressed that button. It means the world.

Unfortunately I was on the late shift today so it had to wait until after 17:30 but managed to replace it with some new. Even though I got the colour wrong. I'm NOT going back up to change it!!

The stupid wind caused a big section of the felt on my studio to tear off. And I couldn't leave it like that as that's where all my toys are!

Today we received an email stating that the owner had accepted a higher offer and therefore the house will not be ours.

I have terrible disappointment. 24 hours ago we agreed to buy a property in Spain. We were going to move out there whilst I continued to work from home for the next 13 years until I could retire. It had space for a new studio which was twice as big as the current studio. We had our hearts set on it.

My little YouTube channel has gone a bit nuts this year. I've just passed 6,000 subs! I feel so humbled by this. I know I've said it before, but thank you to each and every one of you who has subscribed. It means the world!

My replacement CF cards arrived for the DEC this morning. Apparently they’re industrial but nowhere on them does it say that. I guess I could Google it…I’m just going to make sure I back these up regularly!!

I was just trying to learn how to write hello in Japanese for a new YouTube short but after 35 frustrating minutes, I've given up. I don't think I'm supposed to understand how Japanese input works.
