Same! Pitch perfect casting. I like a lot of the actors, but the way she plays Mensah makes the whole thing work. She balances everyone else out.

I don't know if Noma has read the later books in the series, but it seems like she's pulling from that background. Not to get too spoilery but I'm seeing little hints of the way Mensah behaves on Preservation Alliance with Murderbot peeking through now.

I completely agree. she's such a good leader, which is not an easy thing to portray! obviously she comes off very smart, but then she also comes off as a person of great compassion and strong morals, like, the kind of leader you'd want to place your trust in. Just! such a good performance.
