Inflation jumped 0.9% in March, largely due to oil price spikes tied to Trump's war on Iran.

This was the highest one-month gain since June 2022.

Even more alarming, wage growth is slowing and we're witnessing declining economic growth across the board.

Tired of "winning" yet?

Forget inflation. Single family homes are up anywhere from 50 to 200% around the country. If you didn't buy a house before 2020... you may be in trouble for a long time.

Stagflation as a 100% unforced error is something Democrats should using to usher in a reverse Regan economic revolution.

Please clarify. Were prices 0.9% higher FOR THE MONTH of March? [meaning an effective annual rate of 12%]

- OR -

Prices increased at an ANNUAL rate of 0.9% - meaning prices increased less than .1% in March.

I assume the former, in which case report it that way as they consistently did for Biden.

Or option 3: The annual rate increased by 0.9% - for example from an annual rate of 2.5% to an annual rate of 3.4%.

IMO: Unfortunately, unless Trump can negotiate a complete unfettered opening of the Strait of Hormuz & "no nukes" for Iran, he will need to "finish" the job in Iran. Anything less leaves everyone with ongoing higher prices for fuel, fertilizer, helium . . . & the world in much greater danger.

Trump lacks macroeconomic understanding. He doesn't realize that SNAP payments grow the economy @ a rate of $1.50:$1.00 invested.

Tax โœ‚๏ธ's for billionaires doesn't grow the economy, but it does โฌ†๏ธ national debt.

Never ending illegal wars grows debt which could have been used to create jobs...

...public & common good investments grow jobs, eg infrastructure, sustainability or clean/green economy investments are not only good for the environment, they grow green economy jobs that pay well & difficult to offshore.

EVs are selling like hotcakes especially as oil prices hit the stratosphere.

A pointless, illegal war waged by the US and Israel which is having terrible global consequences. If they weren't so arrogant, Trump and Netanyahu should be hanging their heads in shame and begging forgiveness from the world.

If inflation rises past wage growth, the squeeze on the working class will put people out of work from failing to meet the ability to financially survive.

Thereโ€™s never been more people that want to opt out of this unregulated capitalism in my lifetime.

Why does consumer sentiment fall and inflation rises while Trump is President?

Is he the sabotager in Chief?

The more chaos republicans and trump can create, the better the chance of him being able to steal the midterms and 2028.
