Marsh Lousewort (Pedicularis palustris) is a biennial hemi-parasite that weakens reed, sedge and rush. Rare in Oxon and Vulnerable nationally, it's thriving here where we use it as a key part of our #FenRestoration work. Here a young plant is showing the halo effect of reduced growth around it.

'The number of English language and literature academics fell by 8 per cent to 4,680 – among the largest decrease of all disciplines.

I was just talking to a friend today about Dolly Parton's Imagination Library - new books every month, totally for free, for kids ages 1-5.

My son was part of the program - this is a copy of the letter that came with his last book, right after his 5th birthday.

Oh, and no government who cares about privacy would be pushing AI so hard, particularly in schools and universities. AI is fundamentally anti-privacy in many directions.

Help RT please. If it's spring where you live & swans are nesting, the male cobs often go walkabout to patrol their territory. They may appear on roads or unsafe places. Best plan is to shepherd them gently into a garden & call your local waterbird or wildlife charity to rescue them. #swans #birds
