This is messed up. People should be able to see what we're paying for instead of doing anything for the people here so they can put pressure on the regime to stop this.

Well Iran knows what's being hit, so presumably this is just so the US government can lie to the world

This helps no one. The Iranians are getting all the intel they need already. It won't hinder them at all. It will only hinder the public's ability to see what is being done in our name.

It helps the US gaslight the population.... it will make it easier for Iran to be framed as perpetrators when they make justifiable retaliatory actions in self defense

Now why on earth would you NOT want the public to see "ALL OF THE WINNING" that you're doing? I'll say this usually when military operations call for a "BLACKOUT" that means there's stuff they don't want you to see in that region. Like "WAR CRIMES" maybe??? -ONE.๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฃ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Well back during the Vietnam war there was a spacial that aired on tv in 1968 called Tet-68. It was an unfiltered look into what was going on in Vietnam without the federal government seeing the footage that was going to be shown beforehand. It showed a general executing a pow mafia style.

That was just in the first few minutes of the documentary. The public sentiment turned against soldiers so much they started calling soldiers rapist, child murders, drug addicts and war criminals. That's when a law was passed that no combat footage can be shown to the public without being screened.

They said withhold the images. They didn't say anything about describing the content of the images to the public...
