We’re at 40 shirts sold! That’s crazy!

Reminder if we hit 50 (a number I figured would be hard to reach) by Independent Bookstore Day (4/25) I will eat a broccoli (a green thing that people tell me is “food”).

I have never liked the smell of broccoli. When I was a child, we had a turtle and the turtle loved broccoli. I started calling broccoli "turtle food" and refused to eat it because I wasn't a turtle. Put a good sauce on that turtle food.

It wouldn't let me buy a shirt! The button that would usu say something like, oh, "buy" said "Would you buy it?". When I clicked on it, it asked for my email and said it would let me know when another campaign was active. ??

OK. Here's how to eat a broccoli. Sear Spam cut into cubes. Make your fave boxed mac n cheese. While boiling the pasta add fresh or frozen broccoli to boil. Drain n stir in sauce. Add extra of whatever type of cheese you like. Mix in the seared Spam. Chow down. You won't even notice the broccoli.

Cover in cheese sauce or Hollandaise
Roast it
I’m a broccoli lover so eat it anyhow, including raw!

(My family's first dog, Brutus, ate a broccoli once. I have faith that you can, too, Dandy Dade.

[Before anybody yells at me about feeding dogs broccoli - which does seem to be reasonably safe in moderation- it wasn't intentional. He stole it off a veggie tray, or more likely the floor nearby.])

Um... Honestly, if you don't eat much fiber, broccoli might not be your best green vegetable to try, unless it's warm enough to open the windows to let any surprise gases out... If you know what I mean? 💨 😉

It’s food, on a technicality.

What it really is is a delivery system for sauce. Cheddar sauce, hollandaise sauce, even buffalo chicken dip can be a sauce.

Use a bowl.
