The best part about installing a new Canadian winter friendly "heat pump", and configuring your gas furnace as "auxiliary heat" only when the temperature drops below -15C, is when the "auxiliary heat" actually kicks in, you know NOT TO FECKIN GO OUTSIDE!

INSIDE, yes. The "polar version" heat pump has been handling it just fine until the temps dropped to near -20C. The auxiliary heat (gas) has barely been on until the last few days.

Yup. Luckily, Santa brought me a rechargeable heat up vest and hand warmers because I was a good boy.
