A powerful man sexually pursuing a young woman who works for him is oppressive. It immediately limits and reshapes her future to her detriment, whether she is physically forced into it or not. It’s coercion either way, and that is why it’s so wrong. It’s an abuse of power.
There must be a degree of secondary trauma simply with proximity to evidence, victims and witnesses, let alone threats by perpetrators with lingering resentment and who thrive on power and control. That takes courage. Thank you to those who persevere, gather the facts and tell the stories anyway.
Congress appropriated $713 million to the office in fiscal 2025, which ended September 30. Only $472 million of that has been distributed, according to an analysis of publicly available documents by The 19th. bit.ly/4srtqqW
Vance not wanting his wife to jump out of a plane. So much to say, but I'll settle for this: She would do well to learn from others: he'd push her out of the plane if it served him. Under the bus. Out of the plane. Potato, potato. She has incentive to make the leap, just to get away from him.
She would do well to learn from others in his life: he'd push her out of the plane if it served him. Under the bus. Out of the plane. Potato, potato. I'd say she has incentive to make the leap, just to get away from him.
Yes. This is nicely put. One thing I try to get at in this piece is that having Trump threaten genocide and civilizational erasure, and the discovery that we are largely powerless to stop a madman president, takes an immense dispiriting toll on the *American people,* too.
Taking a quick break from today’s genocidal programming to remind you that Trump has also declared war on every program that helps or keeps Americans safe in any way.
Just saying in general that life has no value for him.
Make this make sense: hegseth claims endangering protected species and the Gulf itself in order to drill, baby, drill is a matter of national security...caused by drumpf's/netanyahu's war on Iran and oil shortages. The threats to our nation (on-shore and off-) are obvious. They're in the house.
This is bigger than the system which serves to enforce the law. You'll just have to trust me on that. Women get it. For now, it's what we have. We need to demand better from so-called law enforcement and the U.S. justice system. We need to demand better from men.
No Kings reminder: Please be careful not to post photos with people's faces, without their permission. Difficult, I know, but there are risks. Look out for each other. Signs are always wonderful...so much creativity. Eager to see those. Thanks to all!
