For density to work, you need functioning transit that is better than driving. That means (at least):

- enforcing fares to reduce anti-social behavior

- giving light rail signal priority (if not full seperation)

- telling people upset about a tunnel hundreds of feed below their home to fuck off

yes! ...but please bear in mind that corridors are the loudest and least healthy places to live - I hope we will try to spread more density to adjacent blocks as well! A city where rentals and owners are less segregated would also be welcome!
