Tripling doesn't even get LA to RHNA pace, let alone make up for the shortfall of the beginning of the cycle. Quadrupling would be RHNA pace at least.

When homes are scarce, rents rise. The result: LA is the most rent burdened big city in America.

Instead of responding with urgency, the city’s leadership has done the opposite:

-Suing to block 100% affordable housing 
-Leaving fully-built homes with no power for months
-Fighting efforts from the state to add more housing
