Ffs some of my dresses have gone too tight and I can only imagine it’s because of strength training and I’m in a conundrum here because I love being strong but I also prefer being small.

Nobody tells you about the existential dread of gaining weight again once you’ve lost it.

I hope you continue on your fitness goals, and please remember that it’s entirely possible to weigh more but be thinner. Muscle weighs more than fat. I’ve always thought a tape measure is a better indicator of fitness than a scale

Core glutes legs you can do for bulk but the rest I would only do definition training.
Lower weight more reps is definition
Higher weight less reps is bulk

Is the headspace quite different though? Because strong things aren’t always the smallest. Can you train yourself to think strong needs space rather than the usual female “I’m big” trauma? I don’t know, I’ve only achieved big via eating 😜

Honestly I think the 2000s fucked up teenage girls so much 🥲 I don’t know how to retrain my brain!
I am trying though - my legs are super muscly and I love them.
