The Board of Immigration Appeals has issued a final administrative removal order against Mahmoud Khalil. His lawyers, who anticipated this, said it didn’t impact the status quo, they’ll appeal to the 5th Circuit, & that he cannot be detained while his habeas case is pending.

My heart sank when I read fifth circuit. But that farce of an appeals court is the reason they're renditioning everyone to Texas when they want to fuck them over.
