Bluesky has made it impossible for people from Gaza to have one consistent account so they are the ones making people do more desperate things while simultaneously also not protecting anyone from scammers

I don’t even mean regard as copyright or money. I just mean basic stuff like going ‘hey somebody made this thing and I’m grateful to them’.

Doing this tonight. Writing is much easier than people think. The reason AIs can do seemingly competent writing so quickly is because it’s very easy to do. It’s just not taught very well. Come learn.

I just finished reading @gingerhaze.bsky.social’s Scarlet Morning and it was so fucking good and I want Book 2 so bad. If you’ve liked any of Stevenson’s other work (She-Ra, Nimona, Lumberjanes) even a little, you should read the book because it rocks hard.

Speaking from a country that’s a bit further down this historical trajectory: When your country goes wildly hostile against immigrants, refugees, and/or their countries of origin, it does pretty drastically impact whether or not people want to keep paying to come and study/work in your country.
