It’s interesting that the BBC Complaints Unit will both mis-state your complaint and completely ignore parts of it that they can’t think of even a bad defence for.

That’s standard, they concoct a general subject area response for a complaint subject. That’s why it ignores any specifics of your complaint, you always have to respond back to them on the specifics.
They typically try another fob off then you have to escalate to the Executive Complaints Unit…

Oh, I’ve done all that. That was when they claimed the Hodge Ruling says they have to be transphobic.
I explained to the Executive Unit that the Hodge Ruling specifically says that it only covers how words should be read from the EA2010. They completely ignored what I wrote in my appeal.

The latter being that they claim they have to use their “biological X who identifies as Y” abomination because of the Hodge Ruling, and refuse to engage with my counter argument that that is, in fact, utter nonsense.
