New sofas are being delivered today, it's the first time I've ever bought anything big based on loving it, rather than it being the one I could afford. Now I'm terrified they'll arrive and not be as lovely as they looked in the shop 🤣

Mini Malteser couldn't quite wait for the Christmas cake to be finished before trying some 🤦🏻‍♀️ I literally turned my back for a minute to get the decorations down 🤣

Nothing to see here, just a woman casually hiding a dozen eggs in her jumper drawer because for some reason this household seem to see every box of eggs as a challenge to finish as soon as possible and I need the 36 I've bought to last until Christmas morning breakfast 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

All the drama here after mini Malteser decided to protest being back from holiday by swallowing a 50 cent coin, which was way too big to make it through his tiny system. Two separate surgeries later he is coin free. And I need another holiday to recover 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

Got up and ready at 5:30 only to find that all my trains are cancelled. At least it happened before I was on a train so I can work and drink coffee at home, rather than being stuck somewhere!

Took a half day today to do a 450 mile round trip to pick up the 15yo, it's probably a measure of how little relaxation time I get that listening to podcasts on the M1 felt like a lovely break 🤣

I'm out here looking ridiculous this morning in a formal suit and sandals, I couldn't face commuting in tights and shoes so they're in my bag, along with a summer dress for the second I no longer need to be dressed up.
