I had a Netgear Orbi, & it was barely useful. Today, the dog knocked over the Orbi unit, and it broke. So I need to replace my mesh.
Obviously, the wifi signal from 1st floor living room doesn't make it all over house (basement, garage, attic).

Can anyone offer me advice on wifi extenders? Here's my issue: some of my smart lights and my Sonos speakers can't connect to the fast networks, and need the slower speed (is that 2.5 versus 5.0?)
