especially the part where wolf people can't fall in love and procreate without breaking the sacred laws of their society and birthing a feared and hated mutant offspring that shames them forever

As much hate as the 5th edition of Apocalypse often gets, they did at least do away with that particular bit of lore.

Well, you just can't mate with other werewolves. There's plenty of sexy kinfolk out there to take your mind off Smashes Every Pelvis.

ugh, don't even get me started on all the fucking gross eugenics/sex trafficking stuff around kinfolk. Apocalypse is only good as a case study for why having a sane, competent editor is absolutely vital and how game devs can go insane endlessly iterating on bad ideas

There are so many games called Forsaken I genuinely can’t figure out which one this is

Werewolf: the Forsaken, 2nd edition in particular, is amazing and Paradox making it so that it doesn't get any more official support should have been a crime. But at least we have the ST Vault and the Patreons of some of the developers still giving us good Forsaken/CofD content.

good call, better game thematically and mechanically. Apocalypse is weird and gross and shoulda been left in the 90's, lol

I just started reading the WtA Book of Hungry Names, what's the major differences between Apocalypse and Forsaken?
