We were glued to NASA's live stream of Artemis' safe return. Very exciting.
But..the dark humor and sci-fi nerd in me kept envisioning an X-files, The Thing, or Twilight Zone type of ending. Time will tell.
It's probably for the best I'm not a commentator for these types of events.

We're watching the SF Gigantes home opener against the Yankees. We were blessed with a MLB game on Thursday also. I've noticed an increase this year of sponsor logos scattered throughout. At this rate, the ballparks will start looking like a NASCAR event.

Our neighborhood has seen an influx of stray cats. A new litter adopted a neighbor's porch. Then the mama cat got knocked up again before we could trap her for TNR.
The neighbor successfully trapped mama last night but she didn't make it through the surgery. It's always sad, even if a stray.

Watching USA vs Canada in the world baseball classic quarter finals. I think Canada needs to go back to Little League Baseball 101. They've had 3 errors at first with no one covering the base, and it's only the 6th inning. First rule of baseball...cover first base!

A favorite pic of my mom, on her 80th bday, 12 years ago! And then I realized that she has been gone 7 years. It still feels like 2 or 3. Last month marked 30 years that my dad has been gone, which is now longer than he was in my life.
I'm baffled at how time works in relation with our memories.

Kitty has been lending moral support while I apply for jobs today.
I'll keep applying, but it would be nice to hear back from some of these companies. I start envisioning myself working at these places.
