When girls go through puberty, it tends to be preceded by an increase in harassment framed as "you're (nearly) a woman now", combined with "you must control the horniness of all males in the area, and if you fail, the consequences are your fault"

This takes the shine off any horniness you feel

A researcher named Larnie Higgins found the technical drawings for a record players (never built) designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for LH Scott Radio in 1940 and made 3D models of them.

I would take up vinyl for these.

Yes and also this tells you a lot about how a person wields power.

Layering on top of all of the ways this harms an individual and society it also makes clear that the first thing you do when you get power is to abuse it.

You don't want that in a leader.

No matter what some people on here seem to think, it is in fact entirely possible to oppose all US and Israeli military actions in Iran, without pretending that this somehow makes the Iranian government into the good guys. They did in fact murder tens of thousands of innocent civilian protesters.

Fred's whole arc was extra tragic because you could see his need for male approval from a mile away and just gets used up, they really got the friction between the person he's trying to be and the person he actually is

My take is that people don't have money anymore. Jobs that used to make decent money no longer do so. Healthcare and rent are unaffordable.

Everything costs way too much.

So many "leftist" guys I've met have talked to me about sexism they've witnessed, and when I ask them what they did to step in, they say nothing. You don't get accolades for noticing suffering but remaining a bystander. Be brave and call out your guy friends, fellow guys!
