They will then proceed to gatekeep by telling everybody that this is garbage and not real art

I like to think it's the little boy in his castle, looking down from the battlements, with his parents at either side.

It's the same people who devalue art that doesn't fit conservative aesthetics that push AI. They give disabled people artistic goals that are harder for them than the average person, then look down upon their shortcomings. The answer is respecting all artists and their journey, not pushing AI.

Not every art piece has to be a Renaissance painting. But the idea of accepting disabled art that doesn't fit the mold is harder than pushing AI as a "fix".

I work at a preschool for a wide rang of ages and let me tell you, the absolutely amazing stuff kids come up with bare bones materials blows the idiotic "Ai is making creativity more accessible" argument out of the water. Support from others makes creativity more accessible, not whatever Ai shills

It's flat out not "democratizing creativity" FFS, IT'S LITERALLY STEALING SOMEONE ELSE'S ART. It's not original! They are taking someone else's creativity and using it to make a cheap, half baked, poorly made recreation of something that the actual artist used creativity to make.

Ah yes, AI bro's making art accessible to everyone (who owns a computer, a device that costs nearly $200 at minimum and pay a subscription fee for premium if they wish to use the AI past an arbitrary limit) to protect them from my elite "draws with the cheapest dollar store paper and pens" ass.

Art is simply human expression. When AI does it you're taking the human part out rendering it not art.

AI is and will FOREVER be theft! The data it uses to create your "art" comes from a massive amount of stolen artwork. It's mangling together others' artstyles and artwork, without their consent. It's like going to your favourite restaurants, buying their food and then selling it at your own store.
