My wife's mother is being released from the rehab facility, but cannot be left unattended. The recovery has been exceptionally slow. We're on a 1 *year* wait list for assistance in care giving. Full details in the GoFundMe page update.

UPDATE

We've been struggling to get her to eat again, so she can be transferred to a facility close to home. We're relying on FMLA now, risking everything financially, and won't be leaving until she transfers. Without us here between the weekends she wouldn't eat or talk at all.

Sorry to be a bother, but a friend of mine had part of his house burn down. They're collecting donations to fix things and get basic amenities restored.

Apparently any donation under 5700zł (1600 USD, 1350 EUR) is completely tax free, and with no middlemen getting a cut.

UPDATE!!

She woke up finally, although in many ways this is just the beginning. She responded to simple things only but that is not unusual they said. They're working towards getting her in a condition to start physical and occupational therapy. Details in link.

Few days ago fire broke out in my house and I lost a place to live in. Sheltered by a kind neighbour now.

Not to put too fine of a point on it, the man who designed Vac Woman (design K) was outted as a rapist and overall vile person about 10 years ago, yet he somehow managed to come out of it relatively unscathed as a successful artist.
