Turns out a link on tumblr to the play in a browser version was the push I needed. Quick thoughts:
- Oh wow, there's some really fantastic art here! Especially those pre/post duel bed closeups.
- Yeah this does in fact go to some uncomfortable places, surprisingly early on too.

Enjoyed it overall. Intending to get back to it soon hopefully. Might have some small pacing issues especially at the start. Beautiful art and great storytelling. Bao is very interesting but can be a bit obnoxious- not a bad thing but I need breaks from being in her headspace now and then.

kayin this is the kind of game that makes me wish i could be more of a pervert on main, it fucking owns so hard. i love the little PC-98 type touches like the layering of the character portraits over the borders and the text box transparency

i love how unrestrained it all feels. i only really started becoming open to this kind of art more recently but this feels like a really valuable piece for emotional exploration, figuring out feelings about these genres

I really enjoyed the character dynamics too. In some ways, it felt like we almost knew more about Jan than about Bao. We got to see both how other people view her and, in those last moments, a glimmer of who she is inside.

I played it tonight!! wow!!! that was so fun!!

It definitely seems a bit weird, but that’s the beauty of kink, there are as many varieties as Japanese KitKats. Not sure I’d play it, but it’s probably less for the ryona and more cause you mentioned it’s a visual novel.

Prouod of the look and aesthetic, love the music done by @doricdream.bsky.social and I think a lot of the themes of obsession, violence and just *brain worms* are a lot of fun.

BUT AGAIN, this is a Ryona Jam game that errs on the side of 'guro' so be warned.
