More uninformed people getting chicks and the animals are the ones who suffer because so many will not provide adequate shelter/care. Hate this SO much.

Don't get me wrong though. It was nice. I had so many eggs, and my wife had raised them before so we knew what was up.

But when we moved, we couldn't keep them, so we gave them a good home with someone who already had a bunch.

Yes and I love that. I have seen, in my little town, people totally ill equipped to care for them and I ended up buying them food and trying to keep them safe from predators as they roamed all over the neighborhood. It was so sad as they were a lovely little flock.😢
