There absolutely could be more concealed problems that will reveal themselves! The article was just about electrical equipment.

Somehow I think the AI firms will have the bargaining power to get themselves support contracts though. In particular Google makes their own hardware.

Google isn't the one that is going to have issues, they just do it as a side project plus they already using more efficient hardware.

The ones using Nvidia going to have issues with the latest models pretty quickly and they also using a lot more power to keep them doing only matrix multiplications.
