I've been geeking out listening to the Artemis II mission livestream on YouTube and just loving it. Reminds me of the Apollo days.

With Apollo though, there was always a "beep" that you'd hear in the comms the astronauts and Houston, but no more. Anyone (@astrokatie.com) know what the beep was for?

Honestly I'm not sure what to do. I'm tempted to submit a claim just to put Anthropic through the pain of cutting a check, but if I understand correctly I may need a court order to reopen the trust & bank account. It's up to $3k per work, but what a frickin' hassle.

What a mess. Several of my Dad's books are part of the #Anthropic Book Copyright Settlement but I, as trustee of my parents' Trust, would need to submit a claim. Fine, but if a check is issued then I would have nowhere I could deposit the check since their trust has been closed for YEARS.

Apparently you cannot request to have your house blurred on Apple Maps. Neither platform will blur your house from their satellite images.

Seems like you should have to opt in to have pictures of your home available to anyone. Welcome to the 21st century: big business and government surveillance.

Did you know if you have your house blurred on Google Maps then it can never be un-blurred, even if previous owners had it blurred? Or maybe even a tenant, or a neighbor (i.e. not the owner)! Seems like privacy issues all around. @warren.senate.gov
