i met and talked with Swal at a voting tech convention maybe 10 years ago. he's charismatic and well spoken in person, comfortable in large & small settings - all generally applicable characteristics of politicians, particularly in his district. i didn't get a creepy feel from him, but i'm male&tall

i'd love to give him the benefit of simply choosing the wrong atty/advisor in this, but all your notes are entirely on point. not looking good here.

i'm sad. he's generally been progressive and fair, in politics. up till now, i hadn't heard anything about him treating his underlings poorly.
