When I was a student, Physics at the University of Florence was in this old, beautiful villa on the hill of Arcetri (not far away from Galileo's villa).

When I was in year 3 they moved us to a much uglier but brand new building on the outskirt of the city (where having a lab was MUCH easier). I've never been back, and it is weird to now being the professor instead of the student. Even just for a summer school.
