Brats are a mustard kind but I would just eat it with sauerkraut.

Link Sausages would be like BBQ sauce if anything. If it's a good juicy sausage it doesn't need sauce.

I am a ketchup person (a former ketchup kid) so I've expanded my condiments but I still mostly just have grown up to tolerate mustard but it's not what I go to unless it's like an ingredient in something.

Ooo I’ve never thought to try sausages with BBQ sauce, I’ll have to keep that in mind for next time. I’m thinking a smokier or a sweeter sauce would fit my palette.

Try a Texas BBQ type sauce. It's very tomato-y with vinegar in it with things like brown sugar but it's not over bearing sweet.

(this is my preference for BBQ sauces because it's what I grew up on lol. It is essential for BBQ meat sandwiches)
