For those who can't see the images, they look like those pointy salt and pepper shakers but solid. They have a ridged exterior that tapers to the top. They can be made of a variety of solid materials so their texture varies. They also have two hollow cutouts for eyes.

Tbh I don't really get the fascination 🤣 but while they were in York I asked for a few of my own. Why not! Apparently they're really collectable and some can go for a lot.

My parents have been really into collecting these ghosts from a niche shop in York called the York Ghost Merchants. They are collectable, handmade, unique, artsy ghosts.

Usually when I change my playstyle I do it for 10-15 mins and get bored, but this one seems to be sticking. 👀 It's been a few days and I look forward to doing it more.

My muscle memory is improving rapidly with this style of play because I really have to think about where the cursor might be based on the position of my pen to the tablet.

It felt impossible at first, but after a while it starts feeling possible to hit big combos and maybe even reach an FC.

Oooo haven't done an Osu! post in a while.

Been using the noscope mod which hides the cursor after a combo of 10, but I have been setting it to 0 which means a cursor that's permanently invisible except for breaks.

It was punishing at first but it's getting genuinely fun to play that way.

I get it's for preventing fraud but I just think it's dumb. 😂 If a storefront blocks payment because I use an adblocker then I won't buy there.

scan.co.uk is a good storefront, but they use IESnare which is a very predatory and extensive tracker. And using adblockers makes a lot of core functions of their site unusable.

Thankfully, you can still buy things with an adblocker - but ONLY with your card details.

It's not the fastest though; I need to get it to use my GPU. 😂 And even then I only have 16GB of VRAM. But, small models are surprisingly capable especially when given the power to search the web locally.

I usually keep AI posts to a minimum but...

I have set up a stack that runs AI almost 100% locally and does web searching with SearcNG and Playwright with Open WebUI.

It's actually pretty cool, and all my chats, models and search history is stored on my server, locally.

For the longest time, and ironically, the word I never pronounced correctly was literally the word "pronunciation".

I thought because pronounce was spelled with a "nounce", the spelling of pronunciation was "pronounciation" 😂 so I said it that way.

I feel like I should have known this ages ago but I learned recently a big no-no with alt text is saying that something is a screenshot or photo before describing what the image is.

Osu! is the only game I support to this extent. I've been slowly growing my supporter length over the 11+ years of playing. 😂

The house I am moving to doesn't have FTTP internet (and id be stuck with Virgin Media DOCSIS 3 🤢), but I emailed the CEO of the company that does the internet lines and they are going to survey the area. 😂

Id actually be the luckiest man alive if they actually confirm a date to roll it out haha.

Also the UK just sucks when it comes to buying a home. 1/3 of sales fall through nationally! That's ridiculous.

Buying a house is very stressful. I get it now.

Worst part is doing the best I can, and then watching a YouTube video from someone who's been in the industry and learning I'm doing everything wrong. 😂

It's ok. Things are moving. But I feel really anxious.
