skarner's old identity was that he was insane at getting picks, but now he can't even do that. he's just a generic engage tank that doesn't feel nearly as good to play as like zac or nunu. he just feels like shit.

his e is also insanely strong but in a way that's not fun because it DOESN'T EVEN SYNERGIZE WITH HIS R. like, you want to hit multiple people with his r, but his e rewards dragging someone away from their team and into a wall so you can get the stun.

his r hitting multiple people sucks because it means it has to have the longest wind-up of all time in order to be balanced, and it means none of the rest of his kit can synergize with it at all. you don't have anything to do after you drag someone like skarner's old e.

essentially, his kit just feels so clunky and there's no synergy and isn't fun to play. however, each individual part of his kit is so independently strong that he can't ever be strong or feel good because then he'd be broken.
