🐝 Each honey bee makes only 1/8th of a teaspoon, not even close to a teaspoon 🐝 The queen doesn’t leave, she’s starved to lose weight, they don’t “join her” she is pushed out in a swarm.
🐝 They say a male drone, “does nothing to support the hive,” he sustains survival by mating queen.

On my farm work breaks, I'd take my refreshment and a lawn chair down to observe the bee hives. Watching those figure 8's was my favorite.
