All things #AnimalRights since 2016.

We exist to end exploitation & achieve total liberation, a world where "treating someone like an animal" is a GOOD THING.

We write to disrupt. Articles that say what others won’t, and centre those the world ignores.

If you're here, you're probably already questioning the way animals are treated. But on Substack, we don’t hold back. Long-form, no-nonsense, no compromises. Subscribe and read the latest 👇

Non-vegans: 'Vegans don’t care about exploited farm workers!'

Also non-vegans: does absolutely nothing for exploited farm workers.

There is so much misinformation being put out that is bought and paid for by special interests that it makes it difficult to find the actual truth. Odds are if a good investigative journalist (if those aren’t extinct) followed the money they’d find a trail leading to animal ag on this topic.

Meat eaters: "Don’t compare humans to animals. We’re not the same."
Also meat eaters: "We’re just like lions - actually, we’re even better hunters."

Change starts with what we normalise. And right now, most people still treat using animals as inevitable. That’s a problem, because the way we produce food and clothing is a climate disaster 🌍

A new fertility study sparked more panic about “ultra-processed foods” but the real story is far messier. Not all processing is harmful, not all UPFs are alike, and animal products keep getting a free pass.

There’s something strange about humans, not our intelligence, not our thumbs, not our cities or smartphones. It’s this: We can’t make our own vitamin C.

Slow-growing chickens suffer less intense pain, fewer broken legs, less heart failure, fewer grotesque deformities. But to keep shelves stocked with the same amount of flesh, producers need to breed and kill far more of them.

What vegans *don’t* lack:
• Protein
• B12
• Vitamin D
• Iron
• Omega-3

What vegans *do* lack:
• Patience for your excuses

Starting your day by eating animals is literally waking up and choosing violence.

Tired of people acting like vegans claim their food is cruelty-free. Have you ever seen a "cruelty-free" carrot at the shop? That label only applies to animal testing, not farming.

Freedom isn’t freedom if it excludes others. Discrimination isn’t just a human issue - it’s a mindset that justifies oppressing anyone for arbitrary reasons. Every being is born deserving of love. Reject oppression. Go vegan.

Call a rabbit a rabbit, and people see a thinking, feeling individual. Call a rabbit a “test subject,” and suddenly, their mind disappears 🐇

Painful and lethal toxicity tests on rabbits for cosmetic and personal care products are cruel and unnecessary. Safe and ethical alternatives like in vitro tests and computer simulations exist, which don't harm innocent animals.

If one partner thinks meat is necessary, natural, normal, or just too nice to give up, the other is more likely to eat it too. So much for “personal choice" 👀

For decades, we’ve been told that to protect our hearts, fuel our brains, and live long healthy lives, we need to eat fish, oily bodies laced with cholesterol, mercury, and microplastics. All because of one thing: omega-3 fatty acids.

Environmentalists who consume animals despise the fossil fuel industry - but not as much as they despise hearing the truth about animal agriculture’s planetary destruction 🌍

No animal should end up as a rug, chair cover, shoes, or handbag. If it says "real leather," remember - it could be dog leather. Animals everywhere are being killed and skinned for fashion.

Scientists found a molecule in python blood that could shape future weight-loss drugs. Predictably, the headlines call it progress. We call it what it is: another example of humans treating other animals as tools 🐍

Aspartic acid is one of the 20 amino acids used to build protein. It’s non-essential for humans, which means we make it ourselves, no need to consume it, but we do anyway because it’s everywhere in food.

Alanine is found in animal products. But so what? It's like pointing out that water exists in cola. That doesn’t make it a better source or justify the rest of the ingredients.

"Cage-free," "farm-raised," "pasture-raised" - it's all exploitation. A "better life" doesn’t justify taking their life or using their bodies.

Veganism isn’t a diet. Calling it one lets people excuse using, enslaving, and killing animals as just a “personal choice.”
