Both fine, FINE examples of dark roast...not TOO dark, just a bit of oil showing on the beans. The Pacific peaberry is actually sweet if you nail the extraction, like hot chocolate with honey. The Brazilian is less sweet, rich, complex. No bad choices.

The Sumatran is darker than either one of these, and even bolder. These two shade a bit more subtle.
