Not to be pedantic but I'd say 86 was more successful, they only got to Nevada but they did a great job faking the explosion and could have been undetected if the teacher hadn't decided to buy tequila with a fake ID.

This was a joint operation between lunar and terrestrial forces. We are lucky that the moon was in the right place at the right time to restrain them. Otherwise earth's gravity would have been insufficient to prevent their escape.
