No. They should not have been able to vote for a convicted felon. Trump had no business being on the ballot when he should have been serving time in prison.

Not quite, it was thanks to all of SCOTUS in Trump v Anderson and also to Republicans in Congress. NY State convicted Trump of 34 felonies. Garland did not have much to do with that case.

I have no problem with felons running for office. Especially in our corrupt and terrible "justice" system.

One of the best people to run for President in US history was a convicted felon and ran for office from prison.
