Not quite, it was thanks to all of SCOTUS in Trump v Anderson and also to Republicans in Congress. NY State convicted Trump of 34 felonies. Garland did not have much to do with that case.

There are judges on the court who lied under oath during their confirmation hearings.

They should have been removed after RvW. Laws applied prevent further lawless behavior.

AND a convicted felon should not have been on the ballot.
