Does anyone hear speak fluent Gaeilge?

I need a quick translation for a small indie project, just two lines of dialog, and my usual source is not available...

I would appreciate it!

Looks like you are covered, Go Raibh Mile Maith Agat (thank you) for adding Gaeilge into your projects! Here if you need anyone else to translate :)

I’d like to spend a moment on the fact that you have the sort of career where you have a “usual source “ for Gaeilge translation.

Well I just learned something. I was unfamiliar with the name of the language but all too familiar with your trolling and I thought "Gaeilge" had an awful lot of "Gail" in it, so I was wondering if there was an in joke I was missing.

I do, Gail. Even have translated Dan Schkade’s Flash Gordon comics into Irish for publication over here.

Respect! Irish is a beautiful language as far as I know but so difficult to pronounce (although awesome to hear)!

You are so right to ask to someone. There’s a (short) story I’d like to tell you. In “the new frontier” Darwin Cook has one of the character say something written in Korean. The French translation said by someone else is correct: it’s ( i.e: the war is) finished. 1/2

2/2 But if you check the Korean sentence you read: it’s pushed over (in French) which has no contextual meaning. In fact Cook must have asked: “it’s over” to the translation app and the app chose the basic meaning: upwards. Hence the good idea to ask a translation from a human soul 😉
