Data centers are necessary for supporting modern infrastructure like new hospitals, but we need immediate safeguards to protect our communities.

This is a step in the right direction but we must continue taking action to prevent the negative impacts of data centers.

Data Centers should be taxed to pay for new renewable energy generation and energy storage systems, and to pay for new water desalinization plants.

Data centres can be located in Middle East to serve US companies and citizens. That what high speed internet backbones are all about. Just a few more submarine fibre cables can accommodate moving all data centres currently in US to middle east, where they have technology and resources to run them.

If they have the money to build a data center, they have the money to build infrastructure to POWER it. Stop parasitizing our power grid for your profiteering.

No, you do not need a data center to build a hospital. Or a network of hospitals. Or a University or a Manufacturing plant.

NONE OF THESE THINGS NEED DATA CENTERS.

You have already capitulated. You are not making suggestions, you are running the government. Get a spine.
