It's been over 2 years since I made THE COMIC™ (iykyk) and I've been working diligently to tweak designs so that if I ever recreated it, I could do it with actual love and effort

That way, people would remember me for something I actually gave a shit abt, instead of boring, soulless, generic slop 🫩

Kai's OG palette vs his current palette

My palette reworks are usually about raising the brightness and saturation a bit, as well as subtle hue shifting that helps the colors harmonize and contrast with each other better

I do overshoot it sometimes, but I pick up on it and dial it back soon enough

Back when I started out with digital art, I oversaturated my color choices

To make up for it, I held back and used more muted colors

The problem is that I overcorrected that and ended up on the opposite end of the spectrum instead

So nowadays, I try to find that perfect sweet spot between the two

For a good minute now, @blindseer0.bsky.social and I have been comparing our Woofia statistics with each other, and until recently, he got a HUGE lead over me

However, thanks to his friendly and much-needed advice, I was able to slowly catch up to him again, and now we're pretty much neck-and-neck!
