Once you realize the car can lock you in and bring you to wherever the person operating it wants it to go, it sort of loses the charm though.

can get it for people who have to travel kilometres daily but idk if that’s not the case you can just… do stuff

like yeah they’re cool tech but on a daily basis i can drive my diesel shitbox to get to the same place probably spending less money and i enjoy the feeling of doing it myself in the process

Damn, a Saturn. In the Saturn I had, the aftermarket security system (or whatever the previous owner did to the ignition system) would sometimes just think it was stolen despite the key in the ignition. So you'd have to sit there with the key in for about 10 min before trying again. Stupid car.
