Heard back from the hospital. Immunotherapy and chemo were both ineffective, my mum has weeks or months if she is lucky. Will be less responsive than normal while I navigate that.

My mum is back at the hospital again. We're yet to find out if the immunotherapy is working and the doctor called me to arrange a meeting tomorrow in case some scans she's getting tell them that she has a new problem they can't fix. Not feeling great!

Lately there's been a new, exciting subgenre: adaptations of LitRPG webnovels which just end abruptly because you can buy the books. Like if the Game of Thrones show ended with Joffrey getting whacked and Tyrion going "wow, whatever happens next must be pretty fucked up!"

Reading comics on Webtoon is funny because sometimes you'll read one with a story that suddenly starts speedrunning towards the end, because it got cancelled and the creator wants to get some semblance of the story out. Incredible stuff.

Hard Wired Island funds came in so it's time to splash some of it around. I'm pretty happy with how the campaign went - about the same amount of funding as the core book - but since we got fewer backers I am kind of wondering if I did something wrong

Planned to go to the Australian Discworld Convention this year (haven't been since 2013 and it's finally in Sydney again) but I decided to wait until the KS money came in to get tickets and missed that the deadline had passed. It is not my day today

Working on a map for volume 2 of Zettamall. This is an alien world settled by Humans and Gamers, in a region with a tropical-to-Mediterranean climate. I'm thinking of doing cities based on (mostly) Oceanic/Pacific nations. Feels like I need more diverse/goofy names though
