This is unfortunately how I often see the word enshittification being misused to be honest. By people who are advocating aganist accessibility accomdations because they dont understand how it relates to other peoples need

I worked on accessibility issues in museums, historic sites, and libraries from 1988 to my retirement in 2019. My core question was always how do we include everybody? The institutions had great collections. How can we make them available to everyone, starting with an accessible entrance?

I turned on the alt text reminder here so I will remember to fill it. I sometimes struggle with the right thing to say, but I try to give detail. Alt text is a good way to override the character limit. For those lazy, some alt text suggest what to say, though some extra edits may be appropriate.

Please don't use alt text to override the character limit. That's a huge misuse of alt text.
