This pisses everyone off, but the Democratic Party coalition is Black Church ladies in the South, midwestern labor union members, working-class Latinos and Asian-Americans, woke white college-educated urban-dwellers, and increasingly, white women with degrees in suburbs.

My husband is a Liberal Teamster. He says he is starting to feel less in the minority. Democratic politicians need to keep reminding the MAGAt's in the Teamsters just what a bad choice this is turning out to be for them IRL!

There’s no such thing as an ideal candidate and there never will be. The inability to accept this keeps leftists/liberals/progressives fighting against each other instead of coalescing against the GOP. It’s a loser’s mentality to expect that there’s a perfect candidate out there.

While I'd consider my self a woke white college college, Midwestern rural union labor vet. Pete's smart, super rizzful, and stuff. I want him in a cabinet position or congress. His language skills alone should make him a secretary of state canidate.

Pete's been with us (nationally) for a while and he's been running for office for almost 20 years but I think the relative thinness of his resume gets glossed over. Popular small-ish town mayor and Secretary of Transportation is a step to ... ? Senator? Governor, maybe? But president?
