I finished re-mapping Route 1 for Rust Red! I uncovered some cool mountain to jump-ledge tiles, and they've really helped me expand my use of elevation. I think I may have actually added more ledges than the previous iteration. I love it! 😅

Well, off to Viridian City again! 🙏

I'm sorry to inform, but I've discovered I actually *can't do underwater traversal in Fire Red. It's okay though, I can come up with something else, like a marine tube, a partially sunken ship, or maybe do something more outside the box like an abandoned oil rig. Either way, I'll make it work! 🙏

I was initially going to re-create 1:1 the extended routes I made in the prior version of Rust Red, but I think I'll just make it up from scratch. I may not remember what I had, but I have an idea of how I wanted it to look. and what the priorities are. I think it will be fun! 😁

They kind of bare a bit of a resemblence to Stitch from the movie Lilo and Stitch (Especially Chammy); granted Jade Cocoon 2 apparently predates that movie by about a year so perhaps it's more the other way around.

"Do you know Tri-Edge?" might be my favorite line in all of the DotHack games, at least for sure in the GU series. It's so ominous and mysterious, and then you encounter Azure Kite, and you're locked-in to find and defeat it, whatever it is. It's some great fictional obscure internet lore stuff. 🙏

I finished all the stats, and movesets for every stage of the Rust Red starters. Sure, they still share the existing Gen1 starter cries, but now they feel less like re-skins and more like their own original creations. Adding fakemon and revising an official mon's stats is surprisingly relaxing. 😌
