Stuff is made with what’s called “planned obsolescence”. I.e. my copper water heater from after WWII was great. I let a dumb plumber tell me he cannot get a part for outside the tank and let him take my whole tank and put in a sh** Rheem from Home Depot. I’ve since had 3 of those die. 4th one soon.
